Our mission is to alleviate cognitive and developmental deficiencies in children by providing safe, ethical, individualized treatment services that will prepare them to thrive within society.

Founded in 2011, Therapeutic Focus seeks to be the leading medical service provider for pediatric occupational therapy, physical therapy and speech therapy facility in Crittenden County and surrounding areas.

Our History

LaTeasha created Therapeutic Focus out of a necessity. Growing up, she suffered a speech delay and there was not a single facility within a 35-mile radius that would provide therapy services to her. In her small rural community, there were only therapy facilities for children suffering from severe delays needing occupational, physical and speech services. Because she only had a speech delay, the closest facility that would provide services to her was 35+ miles away in another state and another county! Eventually, her parents found a speech therapist who decided to work with LaTeasha for free as she had just graduated from speech therapy school.

When LaTeasha was in high school, her great-grandmother suffered from a stroke and aneurysm. Her family was told she would be in a vegetative state and never be able to care for herself. With the help of occupational, physical and speech therapy she was able to relearn to walk, talk and care for herself with the use of one hand. These two instances in life were the motivation that LaTeasha needed to return to her community and make a difference.

When she returned in 2011 the problem still persisted and there were no pediatric therapy clinics for children with mild delays, only severe delays. So LaTeasha opened her own therapy clinic.
